Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER/EDDB) – Berlin’s Main International Gateway
Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), officially named Willy Brandt Airport, is the only international airport serving Germany’s capital. Opened in 2020, it replaced the former Berlin Tegel (TXL) and Berlin Schönefeld (SXF) airports. Located in Schönefeld, just 18 km south of central Berlin, BER welcomed around 25 million passengers in 2024.
Designed to meet modern aviation standards, BER Airport offers a seamless travel experience, efficient passenger services, and excellent transport connections.
